modelling of material removal by single-grain scratch test

Hi,

I would like to simulate a simple 'single-grain scratch test' with material removal.

Which solver is better for this (either Optistruct or Radioss).I would be better if you could suggest some tutorials.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi,

I think you are trying to perform a wear analysis. Unfortunately it is not supported in RADIOSS as of now.
