MoM Matrix calculation

Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on MoM methods with EFIE for purely metallic structures. To this end, I would like to compare Matlab computations with FEKO results.

My question is concerning the exported MoM matrix in FEKO, is it a directly the result of a Galerkin procedure on RWG basis/test functions ?

I read in a previous thread the expression 'Adaptative weighted scheme', could it be possible to have some precision on this ?

Best regards,

    Dear MattB

In general yes, the MoM in FEKO uses a version of the Galerkin procedure, but it should be note that the implementation includes various optimizations that is considered proprietary information.

As such, we are unfortunately not able to share this information with you.

    Kind regards,

    Johan H

    Dear Johan,

    thank you for this answer.

I hope you can give me some insight on a related topic however, I would like to know if it is possible to know where are located each basis function in the mesh ?

The postfeko interface provides the ID of vertices and triangles, but I can't find the basis function ones.

    Best regards,
