How to set squirrel cage inductor value for induction machine?

Hello,

I work on an Induction machine and I'm creating the electrical circuit. Do you have an equation to set the value for the inductor of the squirrel cage?

Because in the exemples, we don't have any equations so it's difficult to know how to calculate it in my application

I suggest you to use FluxMotor, the impedance of the end ring portion is computed automatically, then you can export your project to FluxMotor.

 

You can also find Trickey formulas used in the tutorial available from Flux Skew examples of the induction machine.
