Hello

I'm involved to mesh the attached solid model using transition method. In case, I started to make 2D mesh the top and bottom of the cylinder and in following I have divided the cylinder surface to 20 solids and meshed one by one. Finally when I want to make solid mesh through Multi solid tool the 'solidmap_solids_beging() failed' error is noticed.

your consideration is highly appreciated and sincere thanks.

Navid

I see you got already your mesh. So what's your issue? Share your model?

    Hi

this is only surface mesh and I am not able to map it to the corresponding solid as well.

Also, i'm attaching the file, where i have meshed for two sections as shown above. Follow the same.

    Thank you

    Hi @Premanad

Highly appreciated for your consideration and sincere thanks for model sharing.

such a nice idea to obtain solid meshing in case.

I'm able to map first part (Fig1) however I'm not able to map second part(Fig2) yet, since I'm new in Hypermesh.:unsure:/emoticons/default_unsure.png' title='' />

May you please let me know how can achieve it?

     thank you

    Hi Premanand

Highly appreciated for your extreme helpful video...

As It's shown in figure one after meshing the second section, the outer side of elements are not perpendicular to cylinder axis which causing to appear one gap when subsequent section is meshed(figure 2).

    Hi again

    @Premanand Suryavanshi

I tried to resolve the issue with simple model and I meshed the inner surface as well. in following I adopted linear solid mapping as shown in figure 1 and found it useful with settling issue (figure 2).

Many thanks for your considered time and your extreme guidance.

    Sincere thanks again :)/emoticons/default_smile.png' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' title=':)' width='20' />
