Mesh Quality

Hi

I am working on crash analysis (having 37 components) and in my model for a minimum element size of 0.25 inches, I have about 28000 elements failing. is there any way to clean up these elements other than the conventional way of editing each one separately.

Hi Datta,

 

You can use Auto Element cleanup panel to fix. 

 

Go to 2D page>> Elem Cleanup>>Edit criteria file>> select the elements and click cleanup.

 

You can also use QualityIndex panel to fix element quality.
