Geometry not visible after importing

After importing a geometry, the view is solid black and does not show the geometry of the part. What is up with this? Attached is an image.

Go to preference > graphics> colors and try changing the background colour of the GUI.

If that doesn't work, try deleting the settings file and reopen HyperMesh.

Neither of these suggestions worked sadly. According to some researching, with my particle graphics card it says it may experience some graphical issues, but it still seems odd that I can't view the model in Hypermesh yet I am able to view it in Hyperworks. For more information, I have a NVIDIA GeForce 1060 on Hypermesh 2019. I do recognize that an unsupported graphics card would pose an issue, but I wouldn't think that it would prevent me from viewing the entire graphics area.

 

Edit: I took a screenshot using the panels at the top and it definitely shows that the part is there, but it just is not viewable in the graphics area.
