I need to show proof of verification runs for DO-178B compliance. Is there an easy way to save input data sets and output response for a given run?

You can use the VisSim 'embed' block to reference the subsystem in its own .vsm file. Then provide the stimulus inputs using VisSim blocks and plot the outputs. The stimulus can be any VisSim construction, such as random distributions, a dynamic model, or prerecorded data files. By activating the Simulate > Simulation Preferences... > Checkpoint State option, just save the diagram after running it, and all states and plot contents are saved to the .vsm file. Just make sure to save the diagram on your server so that your IT group will archive it and you have your evidence of verification and validation. Of course, you need to check the results and make sure they respond within design parameters.
