I got an answer for creating a pulse with variable frequency from VisSim guys.I am getting the corresponding output in VisSim. But, when i am using target interface block to check the output in CRO. I am unable to check the same output in CRO [pulse with variable frequency, while changing the frequency in VisSim debug diagram ]. Which port (either GPIO or DAC) is used in debug diagram?

Find the attached files. Please let me know the faults.

Thanking you

The plot shows exactly the right output for us. Here is what we see (all we did was change your slider to a sin). The diagram is attached.
What do you mean by 'CRO'?

First of all thanks for replying. I can also get the same output, while checking in scope (plot inside VisSim) But, I need to check the same thing in cathode ray oscilloscope. For this whether I have to use GPIO or DAC or ePWM pins in piccolo f28069.

You can look at PWM or GPIO. There is no DAC on the chip. Your diagram is sending the output to GPIO31 but not PWM, so you will only see output on GPIO31. If you have a controlCARD, then you will notice that the LED blinks as GPIO31 is tied to one of the LEDs.
As your frequencies are quite low (~1-10Hz) you will need to use a very slow time base.

    Hi,

If you are using piccolo f28069 usb controlstick, once you inserted the controlstick it automatically start installing the drivers if not, go to device manager by right clicking 'My computer' and scan for hardware changes. If anything shows in yellow color, then right click and update it.

First plug in the usb controlstick, open the vissim file and run the file.

This will rectify your problem. if not mail me
