Hi everyone!I try to mesh this model of bus body frame. It is made up of many square tubes(the size of tube is 40×40×3.0). After finish midsurface, I found  a lot of things lost(compare picture 1 and picture 2), I think it's due to the complexity of the model. So What is the correct way to do this model?

Thanks!

Liusst.

    Hello,

You can try and take out midsurface of every single component separately but this will be a very long and tedious process.

In the 'Geom' page in the 'Midsurface' panel you have various editing and extracting options available. You will have to play around with everything and try and correct it as there are many possibilities of different kinds of errors and there is different solution available for every kind.

    Thank you

After mid-surface creation, you have to work a lot to get well prepared surfaces before meshing.

Don't look for 'some-clicks' method. That does  not exist :-)
