Hello all,

Thanks to the great advice i received here, I have made progress with my project.

I am trying to mesh a rather complex reservoir geometry. it consists of a box with 2D elements floating in it representing fractures. I have generated the 2D mesh of the fractures and the bounding surfaces using HM and the quality is good. (picture attached)

I would like to generate a tetramesh of the geometry with one major contraint, the 2D elements must have shared nodes with the generated tetra elements.

I am not sure which one of the tetramesh options I need to use to ensure this.

Volume Mesh does not seem to work, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

Ariel

Have a look at this thread

The same question, the same problem, why changed topic?

I thought there would be different approach for the complex geometry because I keep getting errors with Tetra Mesh.

    Should I select Anchor nodes?
