Hi everyone

I've got a volume of solid hexa elements and out of these elements I want to select those which are located either

- at least partially inside another solid (Note that the elements are not associated to this respective solid)

or

- intersected/penetrated by a surface

I'd be more than happy if anyone had an idea how to tackle this sort of selection. Either one of the two approaches, if successful, would eventually help to select my wanted Elements.

I've already checked the Tools ->Pentetration panel for this and naturally the organize function (by geoms) without success

    conan,

Your exact requirement is not clear for me unfortunately,

however, have you tried the by plane option, if your surface is in a particular plane.
