Hi Everyone,

I am new to FEKO software and using it to design antennas - what I would like to do is export my antennas into an STL or other format to do 3D prints of them. Is anyone able to help me understand the best approach to do this?

Thanks,

Kelly

    Hello @Kelly

In CADFEKO open the File | Export menu for a list of the different formats that are supported by FEKO. Which format is best suited for the 3D printing may depend on the system that you are going to use for printing.

Some additional comments from one of my coworkers:

STL will be best if the design doesn’t need any further geometry editing. The printers will be able to accept this format.

Thanks Peter to you and your coworker, much appreciated! I am able to do this but where I'm struggling is what's output is not the same visual as what i see in POSTFEKO which shows the actual antenna pattern/multicoloring etc. Any idea if that is possible to export?

    Hi @Kelly

Yes it is possible to export results, like the antenna pattern, from POSTFEKO. Click on File | Export for the options.
