Hi ,

Could someone tell me which are possibly the best elements to model a rope or a belt as by observation i know 1D beam elements donot work.

Are there anyother elements that can be used for these purposes in RADIOSS.

Yes but I see it states meshing with quads or R trias. But i wish to modal a 1D rope. So can I use truss elements for these purposes. I have created a separate post whose link I have posted below. In the link I have mentioned my queries.
