Good day,

I have been searching on the internet for a long time now. Can you point me to a resource which helps me to visualize the scattering parameters of an object , for example a 3d shape.

Regards,

Farai

    Hello Farai,

Are you talking about RCS? Monostaic or bistatic? I would be happy to show you, but you need to provide me with the model that you have created thus far. The procedure is simple:

    • Create the model in CADFEKO
    • Add your plane wave source (single or looped over many angles)
    • Add your far field request (multiple points for bistatic RCS and 'in direction of incident field' for monostatic RCS).

If you are referring to other scattering parameters at the ports, please be more specific regarding the problem you are facing.

Have you looked at the example guide models? There are quite a few examples of RCS calculations.

Based on some of your other forum posts, you seem to be posting the same question over and over. See

Surely that post must have answered your questions? Please be more specific regarding the problem you are facing and add models or show what you have done and where you are stuck and need help.

Thanks a lot for your response.

Yes, that post pointed me to the right direction toward 3d RCS intensity visualization - i will still need to look at the LUA scripts to obtain the exact image.

In regard to your query , I want to determine the scattering parameters of the object, say an arbitrary cube (in the form of a matrix). So I wanted to be pointed in the right direction.
