Hi experts,
Can I use EDEM (coupling with AcuSolve) to simulate the water spraying phenomenon?
Like the example below:
If possible, what are the pros & cons of this approach?
Thanks in advance!
Hi Junta,
In this case are we looking at the water droplet interaction with the air causing this behaviour?
With EDEM we can model water droplets as 'particles', depending on how important the particle-particle (water droplet-droplet) interaction is you may need to consider a custom physics model as the EDEM physics models are designed for rigid particles.
Coupling with AcuSolve then allows you to model the drag forces on the droplets in the air.
Regards
Stephen

Hi Stephen, Thank you so much for your answer.
I'm trying to simulate the movement or distribution of water droplets in high-speed airflow.
The interaction between water droplets can be ignored.
And I assume the fixed size of the droplets.
