Hello,

i am writting my bachelor thesis about a bicycle with 103 components. I have finished meshing it. Now i want to write something about all the paramter i used for the meshing.

Is there a function in hypermesh to give out a excel with all the paramters that were used? something like an chart with all the 103 components, the element size, the number of elements and nodes for the different components?

Thanks for helping!

    Hi,

From the model browser>component view option you can export the component details as a csv file which will contain  the component name, material, property, thickness and mass of each component. But the node and element count will not be there.

From the Tools panel using count option user can calculate the number of nodes and elements of each component but cannot be exported.

Another option is summary option where you get the part details with the element count.

    Hi,

Select the components from component view option you wish to export, right click and select export option.

Please check the attached video (swf format which opens in GOM player) which shows the same.
