Hey!! This may be a simple doubt!! But nodes don't get selected after meshing of a solid when we use the commands Nodes>> By Geoms>> Surf (Only after solid meshing using line drag), this works fine when we do solid map mesh of one volume. I would like to know the reason for this?? Is there a difference in the solid mesh formed after line drag and solid map mesh command???

Sure, there is
Solid map one volume uses surfs to generate mesh, so nodes are associated to the surfs
Line drag uses lines to generate mesh, it does not know your surfs so nodes are not associated to your surfs
it seem that linedrag first generate temporary surfs, mesh on them, then remove them
if you let option on linedrag panel as 'mesh, keep surf' then temporary surfs remain
