Can I use an isolated controlCARD with an experimenter kit?

Hi, I am planning to test F28035 with TI experimenter kit, Really appreciate if VisSIm engineer can help to confirm the following hardware assumption

1. Either the no isolated or the Isolated F28035 controlCARD can be used on the docking station directly.
2. If the Isolated controlCARD is used, I need to communicate through the JTAG on the controlCARD, but still need to power the +5V on the docking station
3. If the no isolated controlCARD is used, I just need to connect the docking station with USB cable.
