Dear Users,

I have a model of an airplane fuselage made up of several Surfaces. In addition, I have added more ribs in the form of surfaces under new components. 2D shell elements are to be selected as elements. I would like to assign different thicknesses to the individual ribs and the hull itself. That's no problem so far.

My problem is creating the mesh. I don't understand how I can make it clear to the mesh that all components are connected and that the mesh on the contact surfaces is matched. What do I have to do?

Thank you for your support!

This a picture of an easy model in which i'm trying do get a connection between the four surfaces and the 'main' surface. But the yellow colored lines have a red color. I thougt that they have to be green. Isn't that a problem?

    These lines should be yellow.

Use 'Geom' => 'surface edit' => trim with surf
