Solid mesh to fluid mesh

I'm currently trying to generate a pure Hexamesh for a CFD project. Is it possible to first generate a solid mesh and then convert it to a fluid mesh? I've tried 'CFD-Tetramesh' but it seems like there is no option to make the core hexa instead of tetra.

P/S: I'm working on an air flow in a straight pipe

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi mh94,

There is a option in utility to create Hexa-Core. Please try that.

    Thank you

Could you suggest the settings to create a pure hex-core mesh w/o boundary layer ? I've tried different combinations and values but failed.

Without your model HM how we can help?

It's a straightforward pipe / flow domain. What I did was:

Import geometry (STEP file) > Delete solid > Create and organize components (Inlet, Outlet & Wall) > Surface-mesh the components > No free edges

Then I tried the hex-core. So far I failed to generate a full hexahedral mesh for CFD.
