Running an OptiStruct analysis using Hypermesh

hi altair 

im trying to model a FSI analysis in VWT

i followed your commands from your helping paper (FSI in VWT august 2013, marc ratzel updated to 2017 version by sanjay nainani)

i have problem with this command :'save the model as 'flap_setup.hm' and run it in optistruct '

how can i do this ?

Hi!

First, follow the first 10 step in the tutorial pdf https://altairuniversity.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/FSI_in_VWT_2017.pdf, next, to run the model with optistruct, follow the following steps:

 

1. Click on the optistruct option as shown in the figure below:

2. Next, click on the OptiStruct options as shown:

 

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

 

3. Next, click on the result button to view the results in a text format.

 

 

4. An .op2 file would have been created in your working directory, use it in HyperView to proceed to the next step.
