aligning free edges

hello 

i have a problem in aligning the supporters with the tank (free edges) i tried using tools==> edges but still it is showing a red line between both components even thought changing my tolerance 

can anyone help please ?

In mesh5.hm, you have a lot of nodes to equivalent. See my screenshot:
