Hello,

I want to perform this anlaysis for a large part, and to save elements and nodes (max 100.000) I want to use half of the part.

I cannot find what to apply on the split elements. Is it RBE2 or RBE3?

Best regards,

Joep

    Hi

example Ox is cutting plane, you may have to apply constraint dof1

    Hi @Joep

If the plane of symmetry is X, constraint X (Ux=0),

    What about the loads?

Are they symmetric around the same plane?

If the direction is opposite, this makes an anti-symmetric case.

    Thanks for the replies.

The loads are indeed symmetrical for both part (left and right)

    I think you mean this?

    Hi Joep

you have to constraint dof2 because Y is cutting plane
