Latest Version of Monarch Automator

I was just on an Ask the Experts call.  It was mentioned that the latest version of Automator is 16.1.1.13 (2020.1).  I cannot find release notes for this in Documentation and do not see where I can download it. 

Reason I ask is that in March we upgraded to DataPrep 2020.1, but since we are on automator 16.0.0.89 (2020.0) we have workspaces we cannot load into automator.  Hoping the latest Automator version works with these workspaces.

    Hi Baba,

    Is Automator is 16.1.1.13 (2020.1) available yet?  If not, when will it be released?

    This is the first time we inadvertently installed a Monarch Desktop version that was not compatible with Automator server  - lesson learned.

    Hi Liz!

    It’s nice to meet you. Yes its true that the release for Monarch Desktop always precedes Monarch Server - Automator, so there’s always a bit of a lag time from an upgrade perspective for customers. Furthermore, as you’ve noted, you need to have a server version that is at least the same version (or higher) than the desktop for compatibility reasons.

    General best practice approach is wait until you can upgrade your server to the most recent release. That said, you want to limit the production of models and workspaces for the server to be produced only by desktop version of Monarch that is compatible.

    Hi Liz, According to our product team the Latest release is 2020.1.2 - this is using the 2020.1.1 SDK. 16.1.1.13 is the previous patch. superceded by 16.1.2.15 So the short answer is yes, but the most recent release is more advanced than your needs, which is a good thing.

    Hi Liz,

    We don't have Monarch Server available for download online in public. I will send your account manager a note about this and copy you on it.

    Are you able to use a compatible version of Monarch in the meantime for the Automator?
