Hi,

i am new to fea and hypermesh.
and i have several questions

1. In global ship models we have 1d  elements with standard cross section, 'beam elements', and plate elements are shell type?

What kind of work flow i need use to connect them properly? Do i need mesh first plate elements then go with beam?
2. When i make standard cross section 'L type' in Hyperbeam neutral line are in offset from theoretical line? How can i change  origin ?
