How to fix intersections ?

Dear Community,

I'm working on modelling an airplane mockup for an upcoming Siemens GVT masterclass.

I'm quite novel with the ALTAIR solution and following the guide/documentation, I get some intersections while doing the penetration test.

The autofix doesn't seem to be working. Is there any way to solve the issue instead of proceeding with the manual fix and moving all the nodes?

Hello,

There could be multiple ways to fix this, without a file or image it is hard to give more direction.

I would start with some of these tools depending on the type of intersection

Rebuild Mesh to create a better quality mesh that may fix or at least isolate intersections

Edit 2D Mesh has a number of tools ranging in manual to semi automated to fix mesh issues

Move could be as simple as moving some nodes/elements/parts

Repair Surfaces is the CAD actually the issue. Might be better to start there.

This should give you some path at least.
