Yes I did the Design and Simulation course which discussed a linear static analysis. But I was specifically looking for compression test simulation which is a quasi-static/nonlinear static analysis. To know if anyone here has done something similar, helps to know how to assign contacts between the top and bottom rigid plates and the CAD structure, especially to prevent penetration through the plates of interior parts of structure during compression etc like this(image below)
