Hi, I'm now using hm2022.1 and hm2025.1 in my company.
The geometry faceting level setting, in preferences, has limitation because it improves the 'surface' faceting resolution, but does not affect the geometry 'edge's resolution', causing the mismatch and weird gap between geometry surface and edge lines. (below image)
To solve this problem, i'v used *shadingquality(5) options in hm.cfg, setting the value to 6~7, and this option works very well in hm 2022.1, resulting in very clear and accurate geometry edge line.
But is does not work in hm 2024.1 and hm 2025.1.
I'v checked that the directory path of hm.cfg is alright and that the *linefacetmatch(0) option, which is another geometry quality option in hm.cfg file, still works in those versions.
The only *shadingquality(5) options doesn't work…
Is this a bug, or is there any other options and configuration files replacing the *shadingquality(5) in hm.cfg file ?
thanks.
