I am searching for a way to edit topology in Hypermesh.
The edit Topology Tools in V2026 (Split and Quick Edit) seem to work for specific problems, but when editing problematic surafaces / edges or solids they tend to be at their limits.
I am therefore wondering, if it is possible to edit topology in the following ways :
1. move points of a edge / surface
2. move surfaces of a solid
3. move edges of a surface
There allways is the option to move nodes, but i would like to clean the topology a little bit more effective before meshing.
An example of point 2 (move edges of a (or multible surfaces)) is a partially penetrating midsurface into a solid. In the Hypermesh eLearning example of a Bikeframe the example file does not have any problems with realizing the Penta MIG connectors. But in my recreation of the midsurfaced "Seatstay Right" Part, connecting to the "Rear Dropout Right", my midsurface is penetrating the Solid Dropout a little, so the connector is failing (due to projections).
So this could be fixed by moving the penetrating nodes of the Seatstay, but i dont find that to be an sustainable solution.
Spliting the Seatstay with the Surfaces on the dropout is also finecy, which is why i would like to move all the surface edges of the midsurface away from the penetration.
