Hello, i'm new to Hypermesh and i'm trying to learn how to use the software, recently i've had a problem where I need to make a good weld representation between two components with 2d elements.

Are you using the Connectors feature for Line Conenctions ? There are differnt types of weld modelling methods that can be used. Line welds can be sone by Quads, RBEs, 3D-solids + RBE,… Spot welds are also doable withing point Connections (different realizations are also possible here) A "good weld" representation would likely come down to the accuracy / size of weld you are trying to analyse. I am currently running quad Seam welds, but they are finicky to set up.
