I'm trying to make a ballistic perforation analysis on LS-Dyna program. In this analysis I need to use a 7.62mm bullet and for those who don't know modern rifle bullets have a core and a jacket that is surrounding the core. Both of them have to be different solids because jacket is generally made out of brass and the core is made out of lead. I dont have any problem meshing the core with generating a surface shell mesh on the bottom of the bulllet and extruding it to the tip of the core but I'm having problem meshing the jacket with the same method. No matter how hard I try program doesn't see the cavity of core and meshes it's entirely. I've also tried boolean the core out of jacket but that didn't work out too. Can someone help me with this? If necessary I can send the .hm file or the geometry file
