Hi, Is EDEM and Abaqus coupling possible under the student license of EDEM?

Description: I need to perform a coupled analysis between EDEM and ABAQUS. However, currently I have a student license of EDEM. As a beginner to EDEM, I couldnt find the coupling option between these two. I suspect this feature is not available under student license. Can anyone confirm on this?

Hi, unfortunately the coupling interface is disabled for the student license, so it's not possible to couple with a FEA program.

However you could still export force data from EDEM in .csv format and import that to a FEA solver. For example this case with HyperMEsh doesn't require a coupling, jsut exporting data from a solved EDEM case:
