When I do a simulation calculation for both filling and solidification, I would expect that the solidification starts with the temperature distribution of the filling simulation. I have the idea that that is not the case. Is that right?

Yes, when you do simulation with filling and solidification. The temperature of solidification starts from the end of filling. If that is not the case, that could be a bug in older version. If you are using older version of Inspire Cast, I suggest you use the latest version.
