Description: I have frame elements of a structural model, I plan to extract line geometries from the frame elements. May I ask if Hyper Mesh can do it? If so, would you pls tell me how to do it?
To give you some background why I want to extract lines from the frame elements. The structural model I am working on has both frame elements and area elements. However, it is easy for me to mesh the frame elements and import it to Hypermesh. It will be super time consuming for me to mesh area geometries in the existing software. What I want to do is to import the area geometries to hypermesh w/ the frame elements and mesh the area geometries in hypermesh. However, in order to do so, It seems like I have to have the line geometries to split the area geometries. That's why I need to extract line geometries from frame elements.
