Urgent: PSIM Student License Reset Request

I am using PSIM Student Edition.

I previously activated my student license on this same laptop. However, I had a storage device failure, and because of this hardware issue I was forced to format my computer and reinstall Windows.

As a result, I no longer have access to the previous system environment, so I was unable to deactivate the license before reinstalling.

Now, when I try to activate PSIM again on this laptop, I receive the following error:

"This license was already activated using different HostIDs."

This was not due to intentionally changing to another computer, but due to an unavoidable hardware/storage failure and forced reinstallation.

Could you please reset/deactivate the previous activation so that I can reactivate the same student license key on my current system?

This is urgent because I need PSIM for my coursework/research.

Your previous license key activation is now deactivated in Altair one, you can now reactivate the student license with the same license key.

Deactivation and reactivation feature is only if a computer breaks down or reformatted and is only allowed a few times per user preprogrammed into the system.

You can deactivate the license from one machine and reactivate in another by yourself if you have access to both machines as per –
