I have the relative wear selected in physics but I do not see Normal/tangential Cumulative Forces in the output
Hi Atta,
Is the option for wear showing in the Analyst but giving 0's or not visible to select?
There should be no reason the breakage model prevents it, so long as the particle are impacting on the geometry there should be a force applied translating to a wear/energy value.
One possibility is that the wear values are 'custom properties' in the solver, if you are running the simulation on a remote machine the data is stored in the .h5 files but indexed by the .dem file. On completion of the simulation the .h5 files will be created and the .dem file updated. So if copying files from one machine to another, especally if using remote machines/job submission systems, best to ensure the updated .dem file is downloaded or it won't show any newly created properties like wear.

Stephen
Hi Stephen,
Thanks for replying. Following two snips show the details. Usually, we get Tangential and Normal Cumulative forces as proxy for relative wear, whereas I am not getting it. I have not selected "selective save" that might cause it to be skipped. I think second paragraph of your comment is related to Wear Deformation probably.
The custom properties in the .dem file is related to the default wear model as well as wear with deformation, it could still be the same issue there.
Otherwise we can review the simulation file, you can open a case via Siemens support centre and share the files that way:
