Need help merging meshes

Hi,

I'm quite new with Hypermesh, I made an assembly of Footbones model and I want them to merge together in my foot  ( which is 3D meshed ) so that the foot mesh (Yellow) doesn't penetrate the bones meshes.
I tried boolean operations, the foot mesh still passed through the bones'.
I tried as well to organize my bones to be associated with the foot external mesh, so that I could use the 3D mesh with the bones added in the foot component as boundaries. It didn't work either, I think I may be missing something but I don't really know what it is.

Would someone be so kind as to help me please ?

I don't know how to do that quickly.

But at your place, I don't work with solid mesh, but with surface mesh.
