I have a problem when using Inspire for topology optimization. In optimizing the bracket part below (a part of the tutorial), it failed multiple times. I don't know what caused the failure. Can anybody help take a look at it? I attached the stmod file below. Thanks!

Can you please try to solve this model with the OptiStruct solver selected?
File » Preferences » Inspire » Run Options » Analysis Solver » OptiStruct
I was able to solve the model without issue, but that is the default solver I have selected.

Thank you for your prompt response! I changed the solver to "OptiStruct". But the topology optimization still failed.

Sorry for the late response. Our IT service office upgraded Inspire to the 2026 version. Now the optimization can be solved. I am not sure if the 2025.1 version had a licensing problem on our site. We tried different ways, but couldn't resolve the problem.
