Joint use to modeling a plate sliding on a steep

I would like to simulate a sliding plate on a surface. Initially, the plate will slide on an inclined plane. As soon as point B comes into contact with the horizontal plane, the plate will make contact with the horizontal surface (the ground) and slide along the road profile.

I have modeled it using motion functions and simple joints, but I have not been able to reproduce the actual working principle of the plate. Additionally, when the plate contacts the horizontal surface (the ground), it penetrates through it.

Does anyone have a solution to properly simulate this problem? Thank you very much.

Hi @tonynguyen_1432,

I believe this Discussion is related to your other recent post (here), however this is easy to accomplish with a 3D to 3D contacts. As discussed in the other post, Motions are constraints and will overpower any Contact/IMPACT Force you have in the model, so if your geometry is not perfect then the Motion will cause impossible amounts of penetration in your model.
