When extracting data for the energy loss variables (total, normal, tangential), if the value is negative is it because it has a dissipative behavior? Or what is the correct way to interpret energy loss?

Okay, I understand. Therefore, all EDEM values that are positive is the "effective" energy loss due to collisions, friction and so on?
