I have a solid mesh and would like to cut out part of the geometry and remesh only this area. Everything else needs to stay the same. When I delete elements, there is an uneven surface left due to the nature of the mesh. How would I clean that mesh up so that it becomes a plane. Remesing a ROI would be also helpful.
