In most vehicle dynamic analysis in MotionView/MotionSolve, the vehicle moves forward. However, I have a use-case which need the vehicle to move backward and also follow a designed curved path.
I have succeeded in setting up the vehicle model which reverses along a straight line. By deactivating "Compute steering ratio" I also have the vehicle steered while reversing.
But the vehicle could not follow the path which I expected the vehicle moves along. I can see the vehicle struggling to zigzag around the path. Whatever I changed the path curvature and the vehicle speed, the vehicle still fails to behave like what it does if moving forward.
Any suggestions to make it work?
