Goodmorning, I'm reaching out to the community to address an issue referred to a parameter for topology optimization in Flux 2024.
When setting up a topology optimization, in the part of the optimization options there's a field where the optimization tolerance can be set. The default value is 0.5%. But when I change it and let the optimization start, in the .out file that is created the convergence tolerance seems to be always set to 0.5%, indipendently on what I imposed in the specified field.
I report an example of the .out file:
Initial Material Fraction [0,1] : 0.6000
Minimum Element Volume Fraction : 1.0000E-02
Discreteness Parameter : 1.0000
Topology Optimization Method : Density Method
Maximum Number of Iterations : 80
Convergence Tolerance : 5.0000E-03 %% I REFER TO THIS PART HERE
Step Size (Topology) : 0.5000
Checkerboard Control : On (1 - Global Averaging)
Run Type : Topology Optimization
Can someone help me understand why does that happen and if there's a way to actually set the convergence tolerance in Flux?
Thank you in advance
