Hi,
The S-function file 'mscosimipc' seems to be missing from my installation. I can see mscosimipc.mexw64 in the correct folder but this is not an s-function file.
Any help would be appreciated,
Regards,
John
Hello @John_P_Shiell_1971, mexw64 files can be used as S-Function. I am attaching some links that will might help you set up the simulation.
MotionSolve and Simulink Co-simulation Prerequisites
MV-7002: Co-simulation with Simulink
You could also try use a FMU created from MotionView inside Simulink.
MotionSolve Models as a Functional Mockup Unit (FMU) Hope this helps! Best regards, Orestes
Thanks Orestis,
I can't see what else I can do with the S-Function as its pointing at the correct file location.
I've tried the FMU route - always get the error:
og from FMU: [category:error, status:fmi2Error] fmi2Instantiate: Environment variable ALTAIR_FMU_ROOT is not defined.
Even though I've followed the relevant tutorial - this is what the Windows environment variable looks like.
Any further assistance?
Kind Regards,
Hi @John_P_Shiell_1971,
I believe the environment variable should be:
C:\Program Files\Altair\2026
Hope this helps!
