Modelling sintering neck formation and solid bonding in EDEM

I would like to ask which EDEM model is appropriate for simulating sintering neck formation and solid bonding between particles. In particular, is there a built-in model in EDEM that can represent the evolution of a sintering neck and the resulting solid bond?

If there is no suitable built-in model, could you please advise on how this could be implemented via the EDEM API?

Actually creating the neck is challenging, there are a few options like the liquid bridge model which creates a cohesive liquid bridge between elements:

for bonding rather than cohesion you would want something more like bonding v2 or LEBM:
