What does this parameter mean? What is the upper limit of shattered energy?I think the explanation in another place is the value of Emax/E50, which one is correct? Or did I misunderstand

You are correct. The truncation ratio is the ratio between Emax and E50. This modifies the Emax value used to calculate the E* value in the fracture energy distribution:
If you want to replicate the above, just set the ratio to 1. Otherwise Emax is replaced with (ratio * E50)
