Temperature Update Model Not Receiving Heat Flux from Heat Convection Model

I use EDEM 2026. I found that when using my custom API model together with EDEM’s built-in Temperature Update Model, the particle temperature does not change during the simulation. In other words, the heat flux calculated by the Heat Convection Model does not appear to be passed into the Temperature Update Model for temperature updating.

Could you please help me resolve this issue?
Is it possible to use two particle body force models?
Can the heat flux calculated by the Heat Convection Model be transferred to the Temperature Update Model, or is there an issue with my code?

The figure shows the reference equation. The actual application is DEM simulation of dense particle mixing, where heat transfer between particles and air is considered, and the variations in heat flux and particle temperature need to be obtained.

Hi, There shouldn't be an issue combining the body force models, the updated custom property (heat flux) is passed from one model to the other.

It maybe good to debug the code to check what is been passed, and to also confirm the temperature does update OK without the custom code to check if this is the issue.

Otherwise you could combine the particle body forces into one model (I sent the conduction body force code via support).
