Draft angle in HyperMesh

Hi Guys,

I am currently investigating how OptiStruct deals with casting manufacturing constraints. Therefor I use HyperMesh as Pre-Prozessor. As far as I know, the draw options in the DesignVariable sometimes cause walls in parallel to the draw direction. For casting processes this leads to an unideal result, because the casted part won’t get out of the dies easily.

 

Is it possible to specify any constraints concerning draft angles in HyperMesh?
