The Calculation method of Energy loss on each wall using API

Hello everyone

I have a question regarding the calculation method for the energy loss of each wall using API.

My understanding is that current API only provide the total energy loss summed across all walls. However, I need to obtain the specific energy loss value for each individual wall.

Is it possible to separate these value into wall by wall results?

Hi @Sakae

If you are referring to this API, then you are right, it sums up the energy loss across all geometries in the system.

Please feel free to modify the API to calculate individual geometry contact energy losses. You will have to add additional 'if' conditions to check for individual geometry names, and add additional custom properties for energy losses for each geometry's contact energy loss.
