I am modeling a composite structure using shell elements and have meshed the surfaces with the freeform tool. However, I noticed that the mesh contains two element types: S4 and S4R. In Abaqus, I normally have the option to choose between full and reduced integration, but I am unsure whether this choice can be controlled directly within HyperMesh. Since I am new to HyperMesh, I would appreciate clarification on whether the integration type for shell elements can be explicitly selected.
